Description: Designed with an iPhone GUI, and developed utilizing the JavaScript framework of JQuery's JQTouch. Sole designer and developer. Collaborated with the Development Manager regarding funtionality. Responsibilities included troubleshooting. The design is based on the website design, which I also designed and developed. This was the first mobile site created for a Sesame Communication client, furthermore, exemplifying research and development skills.

Description: Transitional Resources was looking to rebrand their non-profit organization. They wanted the new logo to reflect their motto of "Hope, Opportunity, Recovery" rather than their existing logo that was blue, cold, and felt too "corporate". I took into consideration their mission and purpose, which is to assist those with extreme mental disabilites and to help them grow to become more self-sufficient. Rather than portray them with a house, which was too cliché, I chose the concept of growth, therefore, their logo depicts a series of growing leaves. Regarding the color choice, it was important to move away from the original "corporate blue" and towards a friendlier and warmer color palette of neutral green and deep mahogany.
The logo may be found on their website, which I also assisted in designing and developing, but also on all of their collateral such as letterhead, annual reports, charity events, and fundraising material.
Description:
Junebugs retails doll clothing, whose primary market includes elementary-aged girls, therefore the company required a logo that would cater to their clientele. Initally, I was given Junebugs' logo concept, which was a piece of paper with a sketch of a ladybug and the owner's hand-scrolled "Junebugs" written below. I took the sketch and digitized it within Adobe Illustrator and paired a suitable font that reflected a "fun and warm" feeling. The color palete was one that the client selected, and was quite appropriate for delivering the desired message to customers.

Description: This award winning logo design was selected from 50 entries. The logo was to inspire environmental awareness and activity within the college community. Therefore, the logo also depicts North Seattle Community College's blue star logo, in addition to joined hands and a green ring that exemplifies the earth and it's cycle. This winning logo debuted during 2007 Earth Week, and was co-designed with Robert Los.
Description: This logo was primarily created for the Wanapum Heritage Center Museum's website, since the original logo was out-dated and did not reflect the fresh and modern website. The bright text colors illustrate the colorful beads that are used by the Wanapum tribe and appear in many of their beaded works. The font selection is reflective of many modern museums - clean and concise, thereby allowing the history and art to speak for itself.
Description: This graphic element was created as a study in symmetry and composition. The only concept that I had when starting this piece was to depict the Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS) brand, which is known for automotive use and for propelling racing vehicles at maximum speeds, and to combine that with a more elaborate background. For the background I chose the firebird logo that is used on Pontiac Firebirds, a name synonymous with the strength of American Muscle Cars of bygone days. The color choice was to depict a bright feeling, although the color scheme could better reflect the Pontiac Firebird with black and deep red.
Description: This was a study of graphic design for video games. The company "World Zoo" is fictitious and the red monkey design was given to me to use as a starting point. From there I created a "grunge" feeling. The game insert (second image) was a study of layout and logo manipulation while retaining the original logo concept from the first graphic element.
Description:
Purpose was to create a pop-up box based on JQuery's Fancybox, which would appear once a user logged onto their personal account. The Fancybox was to include and play a video, whose player was styled by the pre-existing video standards. The contract was only 2 days long, and in that time, I was given a PSD, from which I developed, troubleshot, and delivered the pop-up within the alotted time frame. This was a short run campaign last only a few weeks once LOCKERZ social media went live.
